Global Warming vs. the Environment.
The greenhouse effect is what keeps our planet warm. The gases in our atmosphere, which include carbon dioxide, water vapour, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone, trap heat from the sun as off rebounds off of the earth. This keeps our planet about 60 degrees (Fahrenheit) warmer than it would have been without the gases. This is a system of nature that should work for years and years, and it most likely would, were it not for all of the extra gases that are being released now by factories and cars. Adding to this the fact that deforestation is now a very large industry, we have a build-up of gases that are not being breathed in by trees, and are trapping more heat than usual, thus causing global warming.
Of course, some people don’t believe that global warming is real. There are always some people that don’t believe in a fact or “myth” like global warming
Only WE (humans) can do something about this. If we just sit by and do nothing, our planets problems will just get worse. Even if you don’t think that you can do anything, you can help by just doing a few simple things around the house or during the day. For instance, you can walk, bike, skate, scooter etc. to get to school or work instead of driving your car. Even if you need to go in your car, you can still help by carpooling with a friend. This helps to decrease the release of gases into the air. You can also recycle and or compost to reduce pollution.
